Statement of Year 2000 compliance
For a product to be considered Year 2000 (Y2K) compliant, that
product must not cause any errors in the date change from December 31, 1999 to January 1,
2000. That product must also allow for the correct recognition of the year 2000 to be a
leap year with the month of February consisting of 29 days.
Our products are tested by this definition to be Y2K compliant as to
allow the correct date processing by the system BIOS, and that the hardware or firmware of
any product will not cause any interference with current Microsoft operating systems in
the correct reporting of dates.
For any statement of compliance for software that accompanies any
product, please refer to the specific manufacturer of that hardware for the Y2K compliance
statement, as it is the responsibility of the creators of any given software to address
the code specific issues related to Y2K compliance.
This statement of compliance applies to systems and hardware
as packaged for sale. All hardware is verified as Y2K compliant. Customer is
responsible for verifying that all software is Y2K compliant.
This statement is held separately from any warranty or performance
issues including those related to the year 2000, and is offered solely to assist in
solution planning for entry into the year 2000.
Warranty issues regarding Y2K compliance must be addressed prior to
December 31, 1999. After January 1, 2000, only products that can no longer function for
the purpose that they were intended by operational guidelines can be considered for
warranty.
Warning: Software and hardware used in conjunction with Y2K
products can cause improper date change reporting. Please be sure that your entire system
or network has been approved as Y2K compliant before the millenium deadline.
