Before you get too far...
If you set up your own operating system on one of these
systems, remember to set up a "save to disk" partition on the hard drive prior
to installing any other partitions. This is done using the disk utility that is provided
with each computer. The "save to disk" partition allows the power manager to
shut down the computer without losing any unsaved data, and allows the computer to power
up to exactly the same programs running in the same place as when shut down. |
