A word on
the Pentium II - We carry a complete line of Pentium III and Pentium II CPU's.
The photo to the right shows the inside of a Pentium II cartridge. In the center you will
see the actual CPU, to the right and left are the high speed cache memory. This internal
cache gives the Pentium II a speed advantage over socket 7 CPU's.

A word on the AMD K6-2 3D NOW - The 3DNOW!
technology was released by AMD to compete directly with the Pentium II. The advantage of
this technology is that it advances MMX math processing capabilities to include floating
point calculations. This change adds a speed boost to math intensive applications, most
noticable in 3D rendered games and simulations.
Support Note: With the AMD CPUs you need
to be careful with your voltage settings, as these varry greatly between each one. When in
doubt, voltages are written on the top of the CPU, as well as in the table at the bottom
of this page.

Cyrix (and IBM)
Please use this table only if voltage is not marked on the top
of the CPU.
Cyrix CPU's varied greatly in their voltage settings,
therefore we will not attempt to list all the possible combinations for all the versions,
speeds, and dates of manufacture of these CPU's.
Instead, we suggest that if the voltage setting is not written on the CPU,
then set as follows:
2.9 volt core 3.45 volt I/O |
